In this part of the website you can find information about my research and teaching activities. You can take a look at my academic publications, student projects and theses I have supervised, as well as my academic community involvement.

Employment context

I am a research software engineer at the TIB Open Science Lab, led by Lambert Heller, part of the German National Library of Science and Technology. The TIB OSL brings together a group of researchers and practitioners with varied interests relating to academic publishing, data management, FAIR principles, and open research infrastructure.

My current research context is the DFG-funded research project SHIELD, which seeks to strengthen the long-term resilience of endangered scientific and technological research datasets through decentralized long-term data retention and preservation infrastructures. See the project introduction at TIB News (or the German version) for more information.
